Why Was I Charged Twice?
Most "Double Charges" Are Authorization Holds
If you see two charges from CoreAge Rx on your bank statement, the most common explanation is an authorization hold. Here's how it works:
- When you place an order, your bank places a temporary hold on the funds to verify the card is valid
- The actual charge is processed separately
- For a brief period, both the hold and the charge may appear on your statement
- The authorization hold will automatically drop off within 3–5 business days
How to Tell the Difference
- Pending charges are authorization holds — they have not been finalized
- Posted charges are the actual payment
- If you see one pending and one posted for the same amount, only the posted charge is real
Other Reasons You May See Two Charges
Failed first attempt: If your first payment attempt failed (wrong card number, insufficient funds) and you tried again, both attempts may show temporarily.
Two separate orders: You may have placed two orders, such as an initial order and a refill. Check your order confirmation emails to verify.
Plan auto-renewal: If your plan renewed automatically, the new charge is for your next cycle — not a duplicate.
What to Do
- Wait 3–5 business days — most authorization holds drop off on their own
- Check your email for order confirmations to see how many orders you placed
- If the duplicate charge is still there after 5 business days, email support@coreagerx.com with a screenshot of your statement and we will investigate immediately
