Why Was I Charged a Different Amount?
Why Your Charge May Look Different
There are several reasons the amount on your bank statement may differ from what you expected:
Promotional vs. Standard Pricing The price shown in an ad or promotion may be a per-month breakdown of a multi-month plan. For example, "$149/month" on a 3-month plan means you are charged $447 upfront for the full 3 months — not $149.
Plan Duration Longer plans have a lower per-month cost but a higher total upfront charge. Make sure you know which plan you selected:
- 1-month plan — charged monthly
- 3-month plan — charged upfront for all 3 months
- 6-month plan — charged upfront for all 6 months
- 12-month plan — charged upfront for all 12 months
Authorization Holds Your bank may show a temporary authorization hold that looks like a separate charge. This is not a second charge — it will drop off within 3–5 business days.
Medication Type Semaglutide and Tirzepatide have different pricing. If you switched medications during the intake process, the charge may reflect the updated medication.
