How to Adjust Your Dose

Requesting a Dose Increase

If you're ready to move up to a higher dose of your current medication, here's how to request it:

Step 1: Go to "Talk to Doctor"

Log in to your member portal and click Talk to Doctor in the left sidebar.

Step 2: Select Your Order

You'll see a list of your orders. Click on the order you'd like to discuss — this opens your doctor's chat for that order.

Step 3: Send Your Request

In the message box at the bottom, let your doctor know:

  • That you'd like a dose increase
  • Your current dose and how long you've been on it
  • How you're tolerating the medication (any side effects)
  • Your weight loss progress so far

Click Send to submit your message.

Response Time: Please allow 1–3 business days for your doctor to respond.

When Should I Request a Dose Change?

Consider requesting a dose adjustment if:

  • You've been on the same dose for at least 4 weeks
  • You're not seeing expected appetite reduction or weight loss
  • Your doctor recommends it at your check-in
  • Side effects have decreased and your body has adjusted

Do not change your dose without doctor approval. Always wait for your physician to confirm the new dose before adjusting how much you inject.

Requesting a Dose Decrease

If side effects are too strong, you can ask your doctor to lower your dose. Use the same steps above — click Talk to Doctor, select your order, and message your doctor explaining:

  • Your current dose
  • What side effects you're experiencing
  • How long you've been on this dose

Your doctor may recommend staying at a lower dose longer before increasing again.
